Today we feature Jeremy Boyd PT, DPT, OCS, SCS.  That’s a lot of initials.  What it means is that Dr. Boyd is an expert physical therapist dual board-certified as both an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Sports Clinical Specialist.  This puts him in the top 1% of PTs in the country!  Jeremy Boyd serves as Medical Director at Trifecta Therapeutics and works with both professional athletes and weekend warriors.

In today’s video Jeremy leads us through a Prone Knee Manipulation for Knee Pain.

“💥 Having knee pain squatting, going up stairs, or with your Olypmic Lifts? You may benefit from this technique!

📚The goal of this technique is to produce a distraction (separating) force at the knee. The therapist will apply a gapping force to the lower leg in varying degrees of knee flexion in an effort to improve ROM and decrease the pain that occurs due to post-op stiffness, arthritis, or any other cause of knee pain.

❗️As always this technique should be performed by a licensed physical or manual therapist! Remember to always consult with a licensed physical therapist first before beginning any rehab program! If you are an athlete who’d like to address your pain feel free to reach out via call, text, or message!”
