With over eight years of clinical experience, Dr. Kayla Covert Calhoun, PT has dedicated her career towards the rehabilitation of individuals following sports-related concussions. She currently serves as the vestibular program director for the Baylor Scott & White Sports Concussion Program in Frisco, Texas; headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to joining BSW, she worked as vestibular physical therapist for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, home to the largest concussion program in the world.
Kayla Covert Calhoun has seven years of medical content writing experience for national healthcare companies, including Medbridge, FitnessBlender, and the American Physical Therapy Association. She also serves as a clinical advisor to BlueJay Mobile-Health, a telehealth engagement and software platform, to continue the meaningful discussion on the role and importance of telehealth.
