Stephen graduated from the University at Buffalo, School of Public Health and Health Professions in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation, Stephen took courses to get certified to work with athletes and to improve sports performance. Stephen enjoys running and finished the Buffalo Marathon in 2016. Stephen is a lifelong Buffalo Bills & Buffalo Sabres fan.
Since practicing Stephen has gained experience across the age spectrum of non-surgical and post-operative patients, sports and athletic rehab, acute/traumatic injury, as well as chronic and reoccurring pain associated with orthopedic and neurological conditions. Stephen has been involved in telehealth physical therapy since 2018.
Stephen is fully trained as an Outcomes-Accountable Clinician with Integrated Musculoskeletal Care (IMC) based out of Florida. This is a rigorous course that trains clinicians to produce the “highest value care” by getting the best clinical outcomes for the lowest cost. This training guarantees >25% reduction of the company spend on musculoskeletal care for their employees and decreases the burden on the healthcare system. Fully trained in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) which includes advanced spine and peripheral joints and in the process of becoming certified (Cert. MDT). Stephen is trained in Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) to help patients with acute, chronic, and reoccurring orthopedic pain as well as neurological and radicular symptoms.
